It was my birthday last week (don’t ask me how old I am – I might cry!) and my lovely husband whisked me off to Edinburgh for the weekend. The Scottish capital is one of my absolute favourite places, all dramatic landscapes, history and striking architecture.
We had a fantastic time wandering the streets, exploring the castle, shopping and visiting the latest exhibitions at the National Museum of Scotland.
I used the trip as an opportunity to practice my photography skills and I wanted to share some of my pictures.
As I wrote on another post recently, my passion for photography is growing and it’s something I’m hoping to develop on the blog in the coming year. The photos here were all taken on my basic Sony Cyber-shot, but I’m planning to buy a jazzy new camera in the January sales – any recommendations welcome!
Hope you’re all ready and excited for Christmas!
