It’s almost the New Year, traditionally a time for reflection and setting goals for the coming year – as well as a spot of serious partying! This year, I’m going to be focusing more on the reflective side of things as I think about making some big changes in 2013.
The last year has had some real high points for me. I got married in the summer and I finally started this blog, which I’ve been thinking about and planning for a long time.
I’m hoping that 2013 will have a lot more fantastic things in store. The year is getting off to an exciting start as I’m heading down to London in a couple of weeks for the Blogcademy. I can’t wait to meet the other bloggers who will be attending and enjoy a weekend full of blog-related inspiration and loveliness!
I also plan to work hard on my novel in the hope that it will be ready to be e-published this year.
The last few months have been so busy for me and I’ve been working constantly on the blog, doing a little bit each day, whether it’s writing a new post, planning, researching or just building up a network on social media. There have been times when it’s been difficult; but it’s also so completely rewarding and I finally feel like my life is going in the right direction, one where I’m in control and trying to realise my dreams.
So whatever you’re doing this New Year’s Eve, whether it’s dancing until dawn in your favourite sparkly shoes or curling up in front of the TV, have a fabulous and fun-filled New Year!
See you in 2013!
