Recently, things have been pretty hectic at Ten Penny Dreams. As well as making a lot of changes in my regular 9 to 5 life (or 8 to 5 in my case!), there has been so much happening with the blog.
It’s been just over a month since I attended The Blogcademy in London and how the time has flown by! Since that weekend, I’ve been working hard to maintain a regular content schedule and you might have noticed I’ve gone from three posts a week to four.
It’s a small change, but I’m already noticing the difference in my workload!
I’ve also taken part in my first photo shoot, where I got to dress up like a 1940s pin-up and strut my stuff in front of the camera.
Plus, this month the blog has attracted a ton more readers, which I’m really thrilled about. There’s still a long way to go but a big thank you to everyone for reading, especially those of you who stop by on a regular basis.
So what’s next?
In the next few months I’m hoping to make some more changes and improvements to Ten Penny Dreams.
I want to:
- Work on my photography and start using more of my own images to illustrate my articles.
- Produce a lot more book/writing related content. It’s the reason I started this blog, so I want to bring the focus back a little, whilst still taking the time to ramble on about blogging, social media and life in general.
- Improve the look and feel of the blog. I had a bad experience the last time I tried to revamp the website’s design, so this time I’m approaching more cautiously. It will be small changes at first, hopefully followed by a bigger redesign as the blog continues to grow.
- Build up a bigger network of friends and readers online – I’d love to chat to you all, so don’t be afraid to get in touch!
Ultimately, this blog wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the readers, so if there’s something you’d like to see more of, just let me know.
