Last month I took part in the #1day12pics photo challenge on Instagram for the first time. It was a lot of fun documenting a whole day through photos, and a challenge to come up with 12 different scenes worth capturing.
Each month, the challenge takes place on the first Saturday of the month. In June, it was a bit easier as I was in London for the weekend, so there were plenty of interesting things to photograph.
However, this month was a bit harder, as I had a very quiet day pottering around at home, with a quick stop out for lunch. As a result there are quite a few food photos, which I don’t often take, and a few still life shots.
I also managed to create a bit of a circular theme in some of the images, which I think ties them together quite well.
The #1day12pics challenge originated on the Photography for Blogs and My Creative websites.

I always enjoy these kinds of posts – I’m a bit of a nosey parker, that’s probably why. Haha!
I’ve toyed with doing a similar kind of post on my own blog, just sharing pictures from a day, but my life is really not that exciting!
🙂

I know what you mean, Jade! You should give it a go, my day mostly involved lying around the house doing nothing 😉
