Moving house has thrown my routine out completely.
In just over a week since we moved, I haven’t exercised, cooked a meal or thought much at all about blogging. I’ve barely touched a book or done any writing.
I’ve had some time off work to deal with the move and as a result I’ve thought about little else. The new house has become my world; I’ve been consumed by it.
In a sense it’s nice to have a change from the normal routine of getting up and going to work each day, coming home and working out, before blogging and taking some time to read, write or watch television.
But being so far from my usual routine does make it harder to do normal things, as I’m not sure how best to fit them in to my new little world.
I’m sure I’ll figure it out, but at the moment things are a little chaotic. So excuse me if I keep rambling on about moving house, because right now, it’s hard to think constructively about much else!

I can understand how you’re feeling! Whenever anything drastic changes in my life I tend to take an unintended break from blogging; not because I want to, but because I’m distracted! Blogging is important, but sometimes things happen or there are other things to do.

It’s good to take a break if you need to! I’m quite strict with myself about posting regularly even when I’m busy, but there’s no real need to be. Sometimes it’s better to miss a post rather than write something bad just for the sake of publishing.
