It doesn’t matter what your dream is, or your definition of success, but it can take a long time to achieve it.
And there are times on that journey when you’ll feel like giving up.
It’s inevitable.
It doesn’t matter how hard you work, sometimes you feel like you’re wasting your energy. You’re trying hard and getting nowhere.
It can be one of the most demoralising feelings because it makes you question your worth and your skills, whether you have the ability to reach your goal. You wonder if it’s worth the effort and the sacrifice required.
That’s something only you can decide. Sometimes you will fail, we all do. There’s no point in pushing yourself too hard, too far, if your goal will forever be out of reach.
But most people get to that point too soon.
They give up without realising how close they are to their dream.
So believe in yourself.
When you want to give up, when you’re convinced it will never happen, when you want to stop and cry.
Believe in yourself. Think about the things you’ve achieved already. Picture your goal, visualise life as you wish it could be. Say it out loud.
I believe in myself.
Keep going.
