Alnwick Gardens is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
The garden has a variety of stunning features and different areas, from the grand cascade fountain to the bamboo labyrinth and the ornamental garden.
There’s a cherry orchard with rows and rows of trees and winding pathways.
Not to mention the Treehouse Restaurant, located in a quirky building up above the ground.
We were fortunate to visit on a sunny spring day, which filled the garden with so much light and colour. It’s a great place to explore with the camera.

Wonderful photography Amy. Just yesterday we met with friends from the South who had visited the Gardens this week. We live so much closer… We must make the journey!

I would go mid-week if you can, we went on Bank Holiday Monday and it was super busy. The gardens would be so lovely if you had them to yourself!
