Just a random series of thoughts plucked from the mush of my brain out onto the page. Because some days a coherent thought is too much to ask for!
Easter weekend…
…is anyone else just really looking forward to four whole days of peace, quiet and relaxing on the sofa? Easter is the ultimate weekend, it’s just a shame it’s only once a year.
Diets…
…I’ve been really busy since Christmas, with long hours at my day job before heading home to work on my book or my crowdfunding campaign. That means I’ve been making bad decisions about food and skipping exercise pretty regularly. And I’m paying for it now. Obviously there’s a whole weekend of chocolate to get through before I can really commit to cutting back on my eating though.
Crowdfunding…
…when am I not thinking about this?! But I hit the halfway mark this last weekend, so here’s hoping the next part will go a bit quicker.
Seven Seconds…
…this Netflix drama is so powerful and I can’t stop watching it. Regina King gives the most amazing performance I’ve seen in ages as a woman who loses her son in a hit and run accident. Go watch it now!
Light nights and no sense of time…
…it happens every time the clocks change; that sense of losing track of time. And it’s always worse in spring. We only lose one hour, so why does it affect me so much? It’s a good job they throw the lighter nights in to distract us.
Furniture shopping…
…the best thing about it being a Bank Holiday this weekend? We’re getting a new sofa delivered. And we’ll have so much time to get acquainted!

Who can diet when there are Cadbury Creme eggs to be eaten? 🙂 I do love how relaxing of a holiday Easter is. We don’t have a lot of traditions surrounding that one (other than a basket full of chocolate, OBVIOUSLY), so the days off always feel like an invitation to do nothing at all. Enjoy your long weekend!

Ooh Creme eggs – I haven’t had one yet this year, must get on that before they disappear!
